So it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, largely because I’ve been traveling and working a lot. Sadly, editing took a back seat to the rest of my life for a bit, but I’ve finally finished cranking out all 32 chapters of Tomb of the Relequim and it’s ready for the final phases. Luckily for us all, I really enjoy most of the editing process, though what I’m about to embark on will feel like more of a grind. The “let me read this two more times in two different formats and make sure I didn’t miss anything/want to add anything” phase.
I’ve read my book enough times already, thank you.
I don’t want to totally give away the cover art, but I feel like you guys deserve a little teaser. I’m not going to put up the latest yet, but I will give you the process it’s taken to get to where we’re at. I’m hoping that we’ll have a finished cover here very soon, but in the meantime you’ll just have to go a bit crazy with these sketches by Marjolein. Click on it to see a larger size.
It’s kind of out of order, but next time I’ll share a page from the book with my editor, Jenna’s markings all over it. Of course it’ll be one with underlining and stars more than sections crossed out and ridiculed 😉
